Before beginning developing a logo design for Plato Cosmetics, I wanted to get an idea of logo designs that already exist for cosmetic companies. The logo design below is for The Body Shop, it's really different from a lot of the logo designs for cosmetic companies out there are most are text-based.

This is the logo for Lush. This is their new logo, which is a lot more successful than the previous logo design they had. This is more fit to their brand; it's basic and no-nonsense.

This is the logo design for Origins, which is a vegan cosmetics company. The logo design represents this, as it is trees and therefore shows that the contents of each product is natural. It's effective as a logo design, however it isn't very aesthetically pleasing and doesn't look like it would rescale very well, which I believe makes an unsuccessful logo design.
