The word for today is lollipop. Similarly to yesterday, this should be quite a simple icon to illustrate as it is a visual word. Firstly I started creating the icon really minimally. This was unsuccessful as it looked a lot more like a pin than a lollipop.
I kept the same shape, however I added detail. This is very successful and it's clear that it's an icon of a lollipop.
I then added colour to show how it could work.
